I see you like to stipple. Your work is much tighter and more defined than mine. Would you take a look and give me an idea on what I may or may not be doing wrong here?  th01.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i…
I'm a little hard on myself, you might say. Did you use Pitt pens or Microns or did you use a Rapidograph?

Unbelievable! The textures are amazing. I can't believe you do that with pointillism. That must have taken forever and how does your hand take it? And I wish all pencil artists could see how you use a wide range of colors going from very light to deep black. I see so many drawings that are washed out. This is first rate!!!:#1:

I've not had ANY formal art training. Therefore not familiar with "pointillism." I'm guessing it's all dots?.. OMG. However you did it, it's beautiful! Absolutly BEAUTIFUL! - As your other works are too.

I bow down to your pointillism skills. :worship: I tried it once and hated it. Guess I'm not patient enough. It's incredible how much depth and shadow you were able to create from nothing but dots. You really captured the texture of each thing. I swear the water looks light as a feather. I would just say the mountain directly behind looks pretty flat next to how detailed everything else is. It just seems close enough that a little more detail would still be visible. How long does it normally take to finish a drawing this size?

The detail and realism in this is incredible, and the rocks are especially impressive. To me, they are the most difficult things to capture in pen and ink. But you did an amazing job.

Thank you very much. I agree that rocks are hard to translate using pen and ink. I was more concerned with the water as this was my first attempt at capturing water, but I am extremely happy the way the whole thing turned out. Thanks for your comments!!
